Lefcoe class reaches out to EDMARC families

In addition to its construction of a toddler playground at the Ida Barbour Early Learning Center, this year's Lefcoe class was able to offer the TowneBank box at ODU to families of children served by EDMARC. Lefcoe 2014 supports Ida Barbour Early Learning Center

The Vann H. Lefcoe Leadership Development Program Class of 2014 has chosen to support Ida Barbour Early Learning Center (IBELC) as their community service project. IBELC is in the Prentiss Place neighborhood of Portsmouth. A United Way agency, IBELC serves 60 children aged 6 weeks to 7 years in a safe, clean and nurturing environment. The Lefcoe Class of 2014 is raising funds to build a new playground to serve the toddler age group. The toddlers, too small to play on the existing equipment, currently have recess in an open field with toys. The new structure will provide an opportunity
