As of march, 2015, the Lefcoe Leadership Program has graduated 449 individuals, all of whom have one thing in common – an interest in the welfare of the City of Portsmouth! The Lefcoe Alumni Association was formed in 2003 with the mission to influence positive change within the community and improve the quality of life for all citizens.
Throughout the years, Lefcoe Alumni have indicated that their favorite aspect of the course is the chance for a “behind the scenes” glimpse into our local, regional and state governments and the opportunity to be face-to-face with leaders on all levels. One of the Alumni Association’s goals is to continue to provide similar experiences to the alumni base and the community at large. Most recently they held a free Transportation Forum at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame & Museum. The event was generously sponsored by House Call Company and ServPro of Portsmouth.
